About me

I completed my medical degree at The University of Notre Dame, prior to completing a Masters of Surgery at The University of Sydney, and I continue to teach medical students and junior doctors through my position as an Adjunct Lecturer.

I trained at Royal North Shore Hospital, focusing on high-risk obstetric care and management as well as advanced laparoscopic surgery, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

I have a passion for obstetric/pregnancy care, whether normal or high-risk pregnancies. I also have a special interest in complex gynaecological surgery, having completed further training in minimally-invasive surgery including the advanced Da Vinci Robotic surgical system.

In my spare time I’m a volunteer surf-life saver, provide medical care to the homeless through Street Side Medics and am a Medical Officer with the Australian Defence Force Army Reserves. I am from a big family – one of 11 kids myself. My father and grandfather were also Obstetricians. My wife Belle and I have two beautiful children, Maximilian and Francesca.
