DR KIERAN MCCAFFREY IS AN OBSTETRICIAN AND GYNAECOLOGIST, HAVING TRAINED THROUGH ROYAL NORTH SHORE HOSPITAL IN SYDNEY.
HE MANAGES BOTH NORMAL AND HIGH RISK PREGNANCIES, AND ALSO HAS A STRONG INTEREST IN ADVANCED MINIMALLY INVASIVE GYNAECOLOGICAL SURGERY.

Obstetrics
Pregnancy is such a unique and special time of our lives. I have a passion and advocate for normal birth however also have training and expertise in managing those complicated by high-risk obstetric and medical conditions.
Birth is also a very a personal experience, and I believe it is important to offer women informed choices and to help achieve a safe and happy outcome for both mother and baby.
Gynaecology
I also have had further training in advanced and complex gynaecological conditions and been awarded a Masters of Surgery by The University of Sydney. I have also completed training in, and regularly undertake Robotic Surgically-assisted cases. Interests include:
Pelvic pain and endometriosis
Menstrual disorders (including heavy bleeding, fibroids and polyps)
Infertility (investigation and management – including ovulation induction)
Management/Investigation of Miscarriage
Abnormal pap smears and colposcopy
Ovarian cysts
